"Astounding Science-Fiction", February 1945 (ed John W Campbell, Jr) (magazine, free): Annotated table of contents
Scans of this magazine in CBR format are online as part of a larger package, but with pages missing (including cover & ToC page). ToC below was constructed by scanning the available pages & may be incomplete.
"Wanted - An Enemy" is one of the coolest stories of the genre, though writing style is very pulp era.
Table of contents (4 stories, best first, unread last). My rating is in brackets. Where I have a separate post on a story, link on story title goes there. Link on author fetches more fiction by author. Where I know of alternate download locations, I provide those links with specific stories.
- Fritz Leiber, Jr's "Wanted - An Enemy" (A): A man is trying to convince Martians to attack & vandalize earth. Yet he has the best interests of humanity in mind!
